Job Description:

Reporting to the Group Managing Director, this is a Board level position and an international role currently covering the UK & US, with further expansion expected.  With line management responsibilities for several positions in both the UK and US, the role is based in the UK, with regular attendance required at both the Head Office in Dorset and London offices.  Regular field travel is also an ongoing requirement.

 

The primary purpose of the role is responsibility for the leadership and growth of a profitable sales channel by strategically managing sales and marketing through the senior NYR Home team. 

  

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES will include:

 

 

  • Strategic and operational leadership of NYR Organic businesses, driving sales strategies and inspirational recruitment and promotional programmes.
  • Acting as Brand champion and educating and inspiring Consultant workforce.
  • Building business plans and annual sales forecasts for existing and new markets.
  • Reviewing existing business plans and profitability in each market to Identify and implement efficiencies when possible.
  • Identifying and assessing new market opportunities and providing feedback and recommendations
  • Leading the opening of new markets and setting up new market commercial operations.
  • Drive Brand messaging requirements through the marketing team
  • With relevant key personnel assist with the content and product selection in the sales catalogues, and help develop the most effective supply chain and customer service strategies.
  • Other duties as assigned 

 

The successful candidate will possess the following skills, experience and attributes:

 

·         A consolidated, successful background in Direct Sales within the UK market is a must, with knowledge of Party Plan and experience in a Health and Beauty environment a definite plus

  • Experience of working within the US and also in other European markets would be an advantage

 

  • Ability to build strong relationships with Sales Leaders and internal departments is key

 

  • Must possess strong people management skills

 

  • Must be an impassioned protector of brand image with a strong personality and ability to champion the ‘Home’ concept

 

  • Must be flexible and willing to attend product launches, field meetings, parties and company events as required

 

  • Must show initiative and have excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills

 

 

Please note that a significant amount of travel is a feature of this role
