Regional Catalogue Manager

Job Description:

Reporting to the Regional Marketing Director for Asia, the primary responsibility of the Regional Catalogue Manager will be to drive the planning, creation and development of catalogues in Asia (currently Oriflame’s biggest growth area) ensuring that their primary selling tool is both driving sales growth as well as building their beauty brand.

 

Key responsibilities will include:

 

Catalogue planning:

-          Ensuring that you create catalogue plans that drive the sales and build our client’s beauty image in all of their Asian markets

-          Continuously evaluate and improve catalogue plans

-          Together with Regional Marketing Manager set the overall catalogue strategy for the region

  • Continuously evaluate and improve their catalogue planning process and the tools used

 

Catalogue layouts:

-          Together with Regional Marketing Manager set the visual direction moving forward

-          Ensure that strong catalogue briefs are created for the layout team

-          Assume overall responsibility for the catalogue layout reviews

-          Continuously build and improve the collaboration between planning and layout team

 

Products:

-          Together with Regional Marketing Manager evaluate the product portfolio and all new launches

 

Integration and synergy within the team:

-          Pricing: Close collaboration with pricing to ensure that the offers in the catalogue plans maximise their potential sales. Ensure that pricing and offer information is spread in the team and used when setting plans.

-          Forecasting: Ensuring that Oriflame builds an even stronger relationship between forecasting and planning

-          Analysis: ensuring a close collaboration with regional sales analyst

 

Manager for catalogue planning team:

-          Ensure that all team members continuously learn and grow.

-          Delegate and give responsibilities as appropriate

-          Set the standard and build team spirit

 

Meetings and market interaction:

-          Ensure that all markets feel involved and supported by the regional team.

-          Co-leader of designated regional meetings

 

The successful candidate will possess the following skills, experience and attributes:

 

-          Bachelor or Masters degree

-          Marketing experience, preferably in catalogue planning.

-          Direct selling and/or cosmetic experience.

-          Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

-          Must enjoy challenging environments with a focus on planning and results

-          Must be open-minded, and a results and delivery-oriented team player who takes strong ownership for assigned activities

-          Must possess a combination of strong analysis and creative skills

-          Must have excellent leadership skills and be confident in selling and promoting ideas
