Job Description:

The main focus of the Customer Service Advisor’s role will be to answer calls in a professional and courteous manner, providing customers with a premium service that will leave a very positive impression.  The overall aim is that customers should be kept no longer than 30 seconds in call waiting before their call is answered and should receive a professional customer service experience at all times.

 

Key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Answering questions by telephone and solving Customers’ problems using information tools provided
  • Running reports as required
  • Assisting with product returns, shipping, and problems with orders and products etc
  • Re-shipping products lost by carrier, damaged or items missing from the order by verifying the actual order and completing a reship invoice
  • Completing various forms completely and accurately
  • Answering questions and solving problems from Customers by determining solutions within established parameters
  • Logging problems for follow-through
  • Diffusing conflict situations effectively and diplomatically

 Employment Details and Hours of Work

 

  • 20 days holiday a year

 

  • Free on-site parking.

 

  • 40 hour shift-related working week.

 

  • The Call Centre is open from 0900hrs to 1900hrs and there will be a requirement to work 8 hour shifts across that window.  Successful applicants will be required to work either from 0900 – 1700 or 1100 -1900 on alternate weeks, so flexibility is a must.

 

  • Customer Service Advisors are also required to work 1 Saturday in 4 so again flexibility on working hours is essential

 

 

The successful candidate will possess the following skills, experience and attributes:

 

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Excellent customer relation skills

·         Experience of working in a ‘billing’ department desirable

·         Ability to work independently and professionally

·         Previous customer service experience

·         Ability to analyse and creatively solve problems.

·         Ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities with efficiency and accuracy.
