Reporting to the Country Manager, the main focus of the Business Development Manager’s role will be to recruit and build a team within the designated sales territory (initially Madrid and Barcelona) to increase coverage and achieve stipulated targets.
This position would be ideally suited to an experienced self-employed upline Manager who has developed a solid business and is now looking for a new challenge in a corporate role
Key responsibilities will include:
- Working directly with the Country Manager to ensure that in-market recruitment and sales targets are met.
- Work to ensure that the company sales/recruitment strategy continues its development and adapts fully to the Spanish market
- Recruit and build regional teams of Independent Spanish Consultants starting with Madrid and Barcelona.
- Product and Business Train Consultants and promote future Managers
- Search for and Appoint Regional Development Managers
- Support existing Independent Managers and work with them on team building and business development techniques
The successful candidate will possess the following skills, experience and attributes:
- A full clean driving licence
- Either be native Spanish with knowledge of English, or native English with fluent Spanish
- 3+ years experience of working in the field in the direct selling industry in Spain
- Proven experience and ability to recruit, train and build a team within a multi level marketing environment
- Flexibility to travel/work away from home.
- Be based ideally in Madrid or Barcelona
- Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
- Must be confident, outgoing and enthusiastic
- Possess excellent organisational, communication and time management skills
- Must be a self-starter and also a team player
